The Glory of Brotherhood revealed.

A Happy Young boy decides to take a quick nap on the floor next to the sliding where he can stay warm without the need of his blanket..... he is finally at peace.

Incomes the Brother who desperately needs to ruin his brothers nap by taking 1 of 20 pacifiers in the house from his sleeping brothers mouth.... (Caught in the act by mom). Brothers do have their ways of saying "I love you."

Well it's warming up around here and we spend a lot of time outside doing stuff with Caleb and Jackson. Tonight we'll be going to an old reliable place. Friday Night Live in Herndon. It's a very family friendly concert evening that is free, with good music, good beer, you can bring your own food and tons of kids and families. Perfect! We should be able to make until about 8:30 or so tonight with the boys there. We have good friends that go along with us and we have a good time. That's my Friday night. Little different than the old days, but yet we enjoy it.

We are still waiting for Caleb and Jackson to break out into sentences but they definitely can communicate with us. I never realized how many different inflections there can be made with a "Grunt". They babble with words and grunts and screams and other toddler noises. Sometimes it's quite entertaining. At other times it's quite frustrating. Just another challenge of being a parent.

We were sad to hear that Caleb and Jacksons other twin buds, Luke and Braydon will be leaving with the parents to Wilmington NC this month into a new home. At least we'll have a place to go to the beach for free. Here is a picture of the 4 of them recently.

Here are some more pics of the boys....

We will be going to Montana in July to see Grandma and Grandpa Blow. its going to be a great time for the family. It will be our one vacation for the summer most likely but well worth it. I'm sure we'll have plenty to share about that trip.
Take Care....

Has it really been a month since my last udpate?

As I am constantly getting haranged to update the blog I wanted to be sure to post an update on the Blow Family in Northern Virginia.

Vals second Mothers Day went well in my opinion. The best thing I can do is to give her a break for the weekend and take as many kid responsibilities away from her. The boys just don't get that on Mothers Day you aren't supposed to be a pain in the rear.... They will learn. God knows that I have made some Mothers Days a living hell for my mom.

Zach and Missy, came and visited us over Memorial Day weekend and it was great to see that they will make great parents. They and the boys had a great time together. Oh and we had a good time with them too. Zach is my best friend from High School and him and Melissa are Architects in Chicago. They are real architecture geeks....

Caleb and Jackson are going to start their first swimming lessons in a couple weeks. That should be fun, seeing as they love to have water poored over their head about as much as a red hot poker in eye.... This should be fun. But it has to be done.

Summer is pretty warm here lately but so far managable. It has been getting real hot and then cool, so it seems like the battle over Global Warming and Ice Age. The weather has been just fine for the garden though. So far so good. Still growing.

Since we have moved into the new house my once a week chore of mowing the lawn is definately a new task that is hard to find time for with 2 toddlers around. The nice thing is that the boys love lawn mowers for some reason, so all we have to do is put them on the screened in porch and start mowing. For the most part they just like to watch and point.

Grandma and Grandpa Orejuela are definately the spoiled grandparents when it comes to spending time with Jackson and Caleb. They love spending time with each other and it really helps give Val and I a much needed break every once and a while. This last weekend was our 7 year Anniversary of being married and the Orejuela grandparents watched the boys while we went home, made dinner then slept. It was great to lay in bed in the morning and not have to get up at 5:45 or 6:00 as is the norm.

Other than that, my job is going well. I am liking working for SimiGon now. www.simigon.com
The transition from VTSG to SimiGon has been smooth and so far the future looks good. Val is trying to keep busy with the boys and learns something new every day about to be a great mom.

Here are some pic updates for you to check out. Pay no attention to the pale balding man who resembles an old Caleb or Jackson.
