Beautiful Montana

We just got back from a great trip to Montana to visit Grandma and Grandpa Blow. I don't know where to start. The weather was great, the scenery was beautiful and of course the time spent with my dad and step mother was wonderful. The boys warmed up real fast to the open outdoors of my dads house just outside Ronan Montana. Here is a pic of the house.

and the view of the mountains behind the house...
The weather was mostly in the high 80's and 90's the entire week and pretty dry so it was easy to handle the heat. Saturday and Sunday were in the 100's but we were able to deal with it with a simple baby pool and sprinkler.

Here is Caleb giving Jackson a little brotherly love once again.
Just some good shots my dad took.

Tuesday we went and saw my friend Steve Brown who was one my best friends in High School. He lives outside a little town about half an hour south of Missoula with his wife Amanda and daughter Sheylin. This is the only picture I got from there and it happens to be when Val went out horseback riding with Steve. We had a great visit with them.

We took a day trip up to Glacier National Park. It was a beautiful trip and reminded me a lot of New Hampshire. Of course the mountains in Glacier are taller and steeper. It was simply magnificent and the weather was perfect.

We found that even Ground Squirrels at 7,000 ft. enjoy a good piece of Colby Cheese.

Of course a trip to dads wouldn't be complete without a little Cowboyin. That's my dad and I on Flint (Right) and Sunny (Left). His other horse Raja is a large part draft , part curly horse. Was injured at the time. Their horses are super friendly and love to be kissed and hugged... Makes me wish we had room for horses in Virginia.

We are glad to be home but have great memories of a vacation that we will surely revisit.
