The boys are almost 2

Sorry it has been a while since I have posted on the Blog. I have found other things to take up my time of course. In short, everyone is doing great. Val and the baby are doing very well. She is due May 23rd. We decided not to find out the sex so it will be a surprise for everyone. The latest doctors visits have shown a normal pregnancy which is a real difference from the last time. :-) Val is starting to show and looks very cute with her belly.

We have been keeping busy here in Virginia and if you can believe it, Caleb and Jackson are turning 2 next weekend. We are having a Thomas the Tank Engine party because they really love Choo Choo Trains. Val even got a pinata with strings under it for little kids to pull on to open it up. She also has made some fun games to play for all the kids that will be around.

Val is starting to get into nesting mode and the baby room is fast becoming a reality. Just a couple paint coats and a crib and we will be all set. WE are definitely thinking that 1 will be easier than 2 but of course we have a couple very active 2 year olds that should make up for it.

If you can believe it the boys might actually start preschool in the fall. Partly to plan on giving Val a break and the other to give them something new to do once or twice a week for a few hours. If you are wondering why in the heck we would do this, trust me, I know what you are thinking, because I was there too.

My job is good and I still enjoy what I am doing working for SimiGon. Lots of responsibility and good people keep it interesting for me. We continue to get new customers and new projects which I enjoy. The great thing is that my office is only about 10 minutes away and I have the freedom to come home for lunch or be home shortly if needed. I don't work too late anymore which is great too. I get to spend a decent amount of time with Caleb and Jackson before they go down for bed, do overall I cannot complain at all.

Another new thing that has happened in our house is that we had to upgrade to a larger more convenient car. After lots of wrestling with the idea we decided that Val would get a Family Utility Vehicle. Some people call them Mini-Vans, but I don't like that term. It is a 2004 Toyota Sienna "Family Utility Vehicle". FUV for short. I don't want to here it called anything other than that around my house. :-) Just kidding. All I have left of my manhood is the fact that I drive a 4Runner. So I just say that it is Vals car.

I better close for now. I hope this blog entry finds you and your family well.
