You are feeling very Sleeeeepppyyy!

Man oh Man. Val and I have walked right into the world of random sleep patterns. We have never had to deal with prolonged periods of random sleep like we currently are having with the little guys. It's definately the tough part of being a parent.

The boys are doing good. Val took the little guys to the doctor today to get weighed and Jackson weighed in at 4lbs 13 oz. up 5 ounces in a week. Caleb didn't need to be weighed so we arent sure about him but he is getting heavier trust us.

Here is a pic from Valentines day.

Some up close ones that Val took...

Jackson:

Hard to believe they are 3 weeks old now. It actually feels much longer to us. Val is a great mom. She has been doing great. She has pretty much fully recovered from the surgery too.

Jackson still has his PDA heart murmor issue that we will be getting checked on next week again. We are hoping the medicine he is taking will close up the PDA without any surgery. If not the surgery would not require open heart surgery, just a catheder type surgery to close it up for him. This is pretty common in some premies.

Talk to you soon.

Jackson came home

Friday Jackson came home. We had just gotten in sort of a groove taking care of Caleb and then it hit us pretty hard Friday night. It was a rough night getting Jackson in the pattern. But we are very happy to have him with us. They both are feeding good and are resting when the need to so far. Lots of doc appts. this week for both but all should turn out fine after the dust settles.

Here are some more pics. Enjoy!

It's 2 boys!

Well the day finally has come. Caleb Matthew Blow and Jackson David Blow were born around 1:40pm on February 2nd at INOVA Fairfax Hospital in Fairfax VA.

Val spent 66 days in the hospital on bed rest and made it to 36 weeks with twins which is great. Both Caleb and Jackson spent time in the NICU but Caleb was able to come home with Val when she was discharged yesterday. Jackson is not far behind but is still in the NICU gaining some weight and getting his feeding schedule down at a good amount.

Val and I are so excited that we have been blessed with these two little ones. They are the most beautiful things in the world. I was so happy to finally hold them both.

Here are some pictures of them for you to look of both of them.

Above is Caleb in the NICU before he was released. As you can see he has my hair. The velcro stickers on his side burns are for hold his eye viser for the Gondis Photo Therapy they both had to do.

Above is Jackson in the NICU. Again, my hair.....
